So I came home from the club last night with a phone number scrawled on a matchbook, a personal goal in self-sleaziness. Another girl in my party went home with a phone number written on a cocktail glass, which must have been a goal in self-awesomeness. I also came home with my work schedule for next week, which is a very odd thing to come home from the bar with. |

So I just got back from one of the most amazing shows I've ever played. A few nights ago I was driving around with Carrie when I noticed "Peachcake" up on a marquee. It turns out they were playing a show and I was thrilled to see my old friends from Phoenix. Long story short, I ended up opening for them tonight at the Paris theatre. It was an amazing show and I met a lot of awesome people and my music was really well received. I feel happy.
It's like having a snack after a hard days work. Or the first sip of water, after being parched for weeks. I think I'll be very happy here. |

Yesterday I finished my remix for that goofy little Freezepop remix contest. Alls I got to say is that if you entered you best watch your back Holmes.
Also, today me and Carrie are heading up to Seattle to do some shopping. It should be a lot of fun. If everything goes well I should return with a computer desk and a bed frame! Finally, some furniture up in this bitch.
Lastly, I am on some kind of experimental medicine for my skin condition that is working wonders. WONDERS I SAY. So that gosh darn skin condition is finally clearing up.
And that's all that's new or interesting in my life! Whats up with you guys? |

So today I had an all around super day! I woke up late this morning (I was out late at a free hip hop show) and stayed in bed for a while before hitting up killer 7. If you didn't know, Killer 7 might be just about the best game ever made. Also, if you haven't played it on the gamecube, you're missing out. There are so many little graphical improvements over the PS2 version.
Anyways, today I found a fun little underground comicbook store and I bought Frank Vol. 1 by Jim Woodring. I am amazed that I could find something I've been salvating for online just sitting in a storeshop window.
I also visited to library sometime today I found the Wild Party book that was mentioned on BoingBoing.net a few days ago.
It didn't rain today! Which probably also contributed about to my good mood :)
I just wanted to share with all of you how happy I am :) :) :) NOW GO HOME >:O |
