So I just got back from one of the most amazing shows I've ever played. A few nights ago I was driving around with Carrie when I noticed "Peachcake" up on a marquee. It turns out they were playing a show and I was thrilled to see my old friends from Phoenix. Long story short, I ended up opening for them tonight at the Paris theatre. It was an amazing show and I met a lot of awesome people and my music was really well received. I feel happy.

It's like having a snack after a hard days work.
Last night I had the craziest dream:

First of all, everything in my dream was extremely literal and realistic, which is strange since my dreams are normally bizarre and fantastic. Second, this is also the ending of a precursor dream that was too insane and too convoluted to discuss. I'll just start off on the part when I fell off the closet and landed into the alien's mind-melting beam.

Ok, so the dream started with me going on a date with a boy. He was a normal looking white boy and wasn't like anyone I know, he was completely fabricated for this dream. I don't normally go for white boys, which is why that was strange to even begin with. It was the night of October 30th and I was supposed to meet him in front of his college (PNCA) and I did just that.

Anyways, we met at the PNCA campus and his other classmates poked fun at us for not having a costume on since it was all hollows eve. After a short diversion of playing on top of a sculpture on display at PNCA (!?) we went out to find a restaurant. He didn't like Thai food so I suggested a good upper class American place. On the way there we tried to take a shortcut through a corner store and I ended up spilling milk and the boy ended up finding Gary Bussey's severed head in some one's freezer. He put sunglasses on Gary Busey's severed head, since it was Halloween and all. We ended up trying to jay walk across Burnside and getting stuck in the middle of the road. I don't know why my dream included that detail.

The dream started getting weird around here. We got the restaurant and I woke up! Like, really, I was laying in my bed. Really, I woke up. When I fell back asleep the dream resumed, but the same amount of time had passes that I had been awake, like I had stepped away from a movie for a few minutes or something. The dream continued on fairly normally except I was aware of the fact I could wake up and be pulled out of the dream and just resume it. I was also aware that it was a dream at this point. I told the boy I was with that this was happening and he seemed unconcerned. At this point we had left the restaurant and were at some kind of parlor that rents out fake bedrooms and movies so that you can lay in bed and watch a movie. We watched a movie starring Janeane Garofalo. We started playing footsie when I woke up for the last time.

And here is the interpretation from a Dream Dictionary:

We went to PNCA, so here's what it says about schools:
To dream that you are in school, signifies feelings of inadequacy and childhood insecurities that have never been resolved. It may relate to anxieties about performance and abilities.

The hallways at the PNCA we're absurdly large in my dream. Like, 8 lanes of traffic large. Here's what is has to say about hallways:
To see a hallway in your dream, symbolizes the beginning of a path that you are taking in life or a journey into the unknown and self exploration. It represents spiritual, emotional, physical, or mental passages in your life. It is indicative of a transitional phase in your life.

The dream took place on Halloween. Here's what it has to say about Halloween:
To dream of Halloween, signifies death and the underworld. GREAT! Halloween also represents the temporary adoption of a new persona where you feel less inhibited and more comfortable to freely express yourself.

In my dream I thought my hair was a mess all night, mostly because I was on a date and mostly because my hair was about twice as long as it should have been. Here's what it has to say about hair:
To see hair in your dream, signifies sexual virility, seduction, sensuality, vanity, and health. To dream that you are combing, stroking or styling your hair, suggests that you are taking on and evaluating a new idea, concept, outlook, or way of thinking. You may be putting your thoughts in order and getting your facts straight. To dream that you have long hair, indicates that you are thinking long and carefully before making some decision. You are concentrating on some plan or situation.

I was at a restaurant in my dream. (Honestly, I was awake for most of this so I don't remember much):
To dream that you are in a restaurant, suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed by decisions/choices that you need to make in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that you are seeking for emotional nourishment outside of your social support system.

I spilt milk in my dream. HERE'S SOME WORDS:
To see milk in your dream, symbolizes maternal instincts and motherly love. It also denotes human kindness, wholesomeness, and compassion for new acquaintances.

What a useless post!

So today I had an all around super day! I woke up late this morning (I was out late at a free hip hop show) and stayed in bed for a while before hitting up killer 7. If you didn't know, Killer 7 might be just about the best game ever made. Also, if you haven't played it on the gamecube, you're missing out. There are so many little graphical improvements over the PS2 version.

Anyways, today I found a fun little underground comicbook store and I bought Frank Vol. 1 by Jim Woodring. I am amazed that I could find something I've been salvating for online just sitting in a storeshop window.

I also visited to library sometime today I found the Wild Party book that was mentioned on BoingBoing.net a few days ago.

It didn't rain today! Which probably also contributed about to my good mood :)

I just wanted to share with all of you how happy I am :) :) :) NOW GO HOME >:O

So last night I had a dream I was talking to my junior high P.E. teacher and he was imparting all these great truths to me. The thing is we weren't in school, we were just hanging out in his driveway. Anyways, I knew the dream was about to end so I started saying my goodbyes, and he just quietly took me and let me into his backyard where he showed me a little vegitable garden filled with half-dead plants and rubbish. He was real quiet about it, like it was the most profound truth he was teaching my all night. THEN ONE OF MY CHILDHOOD TOYS FLEW UP TO ME AND I WOKE UP!

So I looked up all the symbols and some untrustworthy website and here's what they had to say:

Teacher

To see your teacher (past or present) in your dream, suggests that you are seeking some advice, guidance, or knowledge. You are heading into a new path in life and ready to learn by example or from a past experience. Consider your own personal experiences with that particular teacher. What subject was taught? Alternatively, it may relate to issues with authority and seeking approval. You may going through a situation in your waking life where you feel that you are being treated like a student or in which you feel you are being put to a test.

Garden

To see a vegetable or fruit garden in your dream, indicates that your hard work and diligence will pay off in the end. It is also symbolic of stability and inner growth.

To see sparse, weed-infested garden, suggests that you have neglected your spiritual needs. You are not on top of things.

Toys

To see toys in your dream, symbolizes childhood, domestic joy and harmony. You may be searching for the comfort and security of home.

Also, T.K. was in the dream but they didn't have an entry for him on the website.

Other then that, today I'm going to get a haircut, buy a hat, and go to an IDM show! Surely you're excited!
